Great pic. as a tribute to Moebius many people have done a version of Starwatcher. I have the same ‘Art of Moebius’ book A huge influence. Hi,
I just noticed you told Paul Gravett: “A friend of mine introduced me to his new Japanese girlfriend who was called Nao (pronounced the same as now) and I thought it was such a cool name, a great play on words, a great name for a character.” Guzzen, as they say here (I live in Japan), the same thing happened to me and intended to call my book ‘The Story of Nao’.

Luckily for the both of us, I decided instead to set it in Hong Kong, and so changed it to ‘The Story of Lee’, losing the play on words, but there you are. Volume one of that book came out from NBM in Dec 2010 and im working on volume 2, ah, now!

I know I’m trolling old old posts, but having just re-read Nao I’m disappointed that she’s not holding Pictor’s music box in this picture. Which is not to say it’s not great!

Hey man, been a fan of your work since first seeing it way-y-y back during your run penciling “Shade; the Changing Man” … just picked up (and read) Nao Of Brown and I want to tell you that I found it excellent! Great work through and through!

I loved the comic heroes piece on you and Nao (and the supplement, my anticipation for the book was off the scale after that.) and have just placed my order from Foyles. I can’t wait to receive it. Also we have a mutual world cyclist friend.
