    Bravo Glynn,
A very special voice that will be greatly missed. By a strange twist of fate I was in France this weekend at a BD festival when his death was announced. And I saw him at Angouleme two years ago, frail but he had a sort of glow about him, helped no doubt by his long wiry white hair! I can picture him now, walking in the gardens of Edena,or maybe desert B…

Cheers Adam. I have fond memories of us at Henson’s, poring over Moebius books on our fag breaks.

Mine too. Thanks to you introducing me to his genius all those years ago. A great man and a unique voice. Oft copied. Never bettered.

    Hey Mr. Dillon,

any news about The Nao of Brown? When is it coming out? Please let me know. I was hoping I would be able to buy it at the Ka-Pow in May!

    Hey Antonio,
Thanks for asking. I’m painting the last twenty odd pages right now, then I’m gonna have to finish up the lettering… So I’m afraid the book’s not out until September. You can find all the details here … and I’ll be at the Thought Bubble festival for sure and maybe some others. But follow me on Twitter to keep updated on everything, I post more on there than I do here at the moment.

    Mr. Dillon,

I’m from Spain, and I was going to order your book through the Previews catalog in my local comics shop, but I’ve found it’s restricted:

“NOTE: Available only in the United States, U.S. Territories, Canada, and Mexico.”

I’m going to order it anyway through Diamond, it wouldn’t be the first time that books with the same warning get through to here anyway, but I’m worried that I won’t be able to buy this book due to some very stupid commercial restriction. I realise you probably can’t do anything about that, I’m just venting.

Also, you have posted a lot of isolated illustrations related to this book, which are all gorgeous, but as far as I can see, not a single complete page. Only in this photo we can see half a page, which looks very good, on your computer screen:

It would be great if you could post at least a couple of actual pages to get a taste of the comic itself.

Looking forward to get your book one way or the other.

    Thanks

Dear Tony, thanks so much for your interest. I’ll ask my publisher about those restrictions when I get a chance. I’ve only just finished the book, was checking dust jacket today before it goes off to the printers. With regards previews, I’ve been keeping it purposely vague for now. As we get nearer the release date I’ll do more detailed posts and possibly reveal the odd page or two. So keep your eyes peeled, there’s definitely more to come. Thanks again!

    Hey Tony,
Just found out it’s going to be translated into Spanish, published by Norma Editorial, not sure when though.
