Been real busy doing… stuff… and writing and looking after Ro, so haven’t posted for a while. Anyway, here’s some boards that I’ve just finished… again they’re not in any proper order, they’re a hotchpotch of the best bits.
With regards Nao, I’m waiting to hear back from some publishers but in the meantime I’ve been writing more and I recently spent a great day researching in the kind of shop that Nao’s gonna be working in… more on that later.

The boards look great love the brain cap contraption! Hope you get some interest in Nao as I think it would do really well, Dave Mazzucchelli recently brought out Asterios Polyps and it seems to have done well in bookshops and Amazon as well as comic stores so hopefully British publishers can see the potential.

Mr Dillon: I´ve been a fan of your work since the 90s (ouch, now i feel old) and i just found out about this blog, which has made my day. It´s great to see a great artist still in top form and the promise of new comic-related work from you is just too exciting.
Thank you for filling these blank pieces of paper with so much style and grace.

Mat : Thankfully I am no longer a frog… but I might well be transmogrified at any time, so if you see a dog with a small patch of eczma on it’s left leg… it’s me.
James : Thanks… Yep I’ve read Mazzucchelli’s book, it’s great, I loved it.
Actually I’ve not spoken to any English publishers yet, went straight to the Americans and am in talks with one of the big ones, fingers crossed it’ll all work out.
